UNION CARBIDE CORPORATION METALS DIVISION . P. 0. BOX 579 . NIAGARA FALLS. N.Y. 14302 TEL: 716-278 3376 October 17, 1980 Mr. K. N. Campbell Montello, Inc. 6106 East 32nd Place Tulsa, OK 74135 Dear Ken: The day after our recent meeting in St. Louis, Jack and I visited a company which makes driveway sealers, tennis court coatings and various asphaltic products. We were surprised to learn that they are evaluating a prilled, wetted JM product "which is being used in the drilling industry". They have been using a similar product, 7M05, from JM; but it is being discontinued for lack of sales. They have been advised that the new product, presumably Flosal but under a different name, will cost $147/ton. Thought this information may be of interest to you. Very truly yours.
