EMPLOYEE EDUCATION SLIDE PRESENTATION
PROGRAM ON ASBESTOS HEALTH - WORKING WITH ASBESTOS
CONCERNS
In an effort to upgrade employee education programs on the health concerns related to exposure to asbestos fiber we are making the accompanying slide presentation available to our customers in order for them to make presentations to their
employees who are or might be exposed to airborne concentrations
of asbestos fiber
The program consists of a slide tray containing 65 slides and a prerecorded cassette tape The tape has been prepared so it can be used to cue an operator to change slides Also a complete script is provided so the presentation can be given live or adapted to local needs Further details on using the
program are contained in the Program Guide Please review the guide as soon as possible
It is our goal that every employee who is exposed or might be exposed to asbestos fiber during his or her work be shown this program as soon as possible after its receipt In addition every new employee should be shown the program and every employee should see the program at least once a year
thereafter
In addition to employees who work with asbestos it is important to arrange showings for the employees of your customers who work with products containing asbestos
We urge that you keep a record of every employee who attends this health hazard training program and that you arrange to have proof of such training included in the employee's personnel record
Additional material has been provided with this program to alert you to other training aids and background material which may be of value to you and your associates in insuring that every employee who works with asbestos is aware of the possible health risks and how to eliminate them
