Path Forward Re: ERP Vacancy Importance: High Benzene Health Research Consortium (BHRC) Oversight Committee There appears to be general consensus within the Oversight Committee on a path forward regarding the ERP, following Baruch Brody's resignation: 1) The ERP shall remain an independent and autonomous entity within the Shanghai Health Study; 2) A US-based ethicist should be identified and recruited to fill Baruch's vacancy. Please advise if you have an alternate proposal or take exception to this plan; otherwise, this will be understood to be "adopted" by the Oversight Committee without need for a conference call. Action Item - API will quickly assemble a list of candidate US-based ethicists for consideration by the Oversight Committee. I will begin by asking Dr. Brody and others for potential candidate names; for each, I will attempt to provide a brief biographical sketch from internet resources.
