To match your application needs, NIBCO offers the T-560 in three body materials-- bronze, carbon steel, and 316 stain less steel. Bronze is ideal for service NIBCO 560 SERIES One-piece ball valves up to 600 psl; carbon steel and 316 stainless steel will withstand pres sures to 2000 psi in sizes through 1". For 1 Vi" through 2" steel sizes, the pressure rating is 1500 psi. Three seat materials. Virgin TFE seats, with 600 psi and 366F ratings, offer better sealing with low line pres sures. For higher pressures, glassreinforced TFE and bronze-molyfilled TFE are available on the carbon steel and stainless steel ball valves, for temperatures to 400F at the valve's pressure rating. One-piece body. The one-piece construction of the T-560 gives you an important safety advantage: It elimi nates the chance of accidental disas sembly when downstream piping is being turned. Of course, it also greatly reduces the chances of a leak. Standard features. A hole drilled in the ball stem slot allows the pressure to equalize between the body cavity and the ball bore when the valve is in the full open position. This eliminates the possibility of damaging or blowing out the seat should entrapped fluid expand rapidly. A stainless steel spring washer grounds the stem to the;valve body to NIBCO000588 prevent static electric discharge on all T-560 valves. Compact design saves space and weight; and the valve may be installed in any position. The quick quarter-turn handle clearly shows valve position. Integral mounting pads make it simple to install actuators. The seat cavities are machined to allow ball to seal metal-to-metal in case fire should destroy the seats. The handle can be removed even while valve is in service, with no stem leakage. Separate steel nuts are used to secure both the packing and the handle.
