Materials still to he teeted are "Amanita" by Ealleaite and Resin Cement "S" by Callcote. Other sceples svaliable era by Flintkote. Mr. Harden developed a Limite cement base anterial which ia workable far 1% hours and has a complete set in 3 hours. This cement was tasted by Mr. R. Ho*bein but no report is avail able. The "Xarbo" neterlsl now at the plane requires several additives which. If not used carefully, oould result la e violent
reaction. Before proceeding with tbs teat of "Karbo" Mr. Bruce Abell will be consulted on the proper procedure in safely hand ling these netarials.

This prajeet requires one additional test before completion at which tine s full report will be submitted. The following tests, on wall sections, have now been completed:

Thera were several tests under lengthy discussion. One was

the Consistency Test and the other the Shrinkage Test. Under
the Consistency Test there are ewe acceptable Methods out lined under ASTM standards designated as Methods "A" and "B" We have equlpnent for testing under Method "A" whereas our cenpeeitors use Method "B". A eonperlson of results ob

Under Shrinkage Teata - Mr. Speelaea reported that Bentonite

excessive shrinkage, tests were nade an other eenents requir
ing Bentonite and these also indicated a greater shrinkage.
This procedure apparently Indicated the clay was at fault.
Therefore samples ware returned to the Supplier for further

Because of large purchases by Hsval and other emtd services, Mr. Clousing will neks a detailed study of these specifica tions and datemine uhat available equipoant ws have for east ing under Havy Specifications and what other equipnent will be required and the approadnste coat.
Mr. Pohl will arrange to obtain a hag of Kagle "66" for testing purposes.
