RE: DUST COUNTS
I referred your letter of September 13 on the above to Dr. Cralley and Mr. Bonney for their comment. Mr. Bonney has advised that he called Walt Barr and discussed the matter with him. Mr. Barr will revisit the Foundry which he has not done for some time to determine whether conditions have changed significantly since the last counts were made. Further action will be based on his inspection of the area.
This will be satisfactory to me. My concern is that we keep on top of such problems so they do not sneak up on us. Thanks for following up on this.

Referring to your letter of January 17.. the information you requested on the levels of dust exposures of workers in the Massena Car bon Plant will be compiled according to your instructions.
According to our tentative plans, this survey should be started during the next two weeks. The information, along with the Millipore Filter samples, should reach your office well within the time limit suggested by you.
