ASBESTOSIS
(In pursuit of a killer)
Asbestosis in recent years has been found to be one of the more seriously destructive and fatal occupational diseases to be encountered by the American worker in industry today.
Because of the seriousness of this disease, and because of the fact that numbers of DuPont workers at the Chattanooga Plant have had contact with it in some form or other, there will be an OPEN MEETING held to deal with this subject, by an expert in this field, as well as being a Representative of the United Steelworkers of America.
David K. Parkinson, M.D., a specialist in occupational medicine and a member of Falk Clinic from the University of Pittsburgh, will conduct this meeting on asbestosis and related subjects.
DATE: TIME: PLACE:
SEPTEMBER 24, 1981 7:00 P.M.
MERCURY BUILDING 2474 Clay Street (Behind Golden Gallon; Appling off Amnicola Hwy. to Clay Street)
All DuPont Wage Roll Workers are welcome. There will be a complete report given on Campaign activities up to this date.
