Subject: LEAD DETERMINATIONS FOR jiBB ETHYL CORPORATION
In the recent past all the results of the determinations for lead in biologic specimens submitted to the Laboratory from various Ethyl Corporation installations have been routed to Dr. Alvin Davis for appropriate action. The procedure for the disposition of these reports in the future has been reviewed with Dr. Sanders. Dr. Sanders has requested that the reports be handled in the routine fashion by the members of the Clinical Division with the exception that the completed reports should be sent to him for mailing or other disposition. Copies of the reports will be filed as they have been filed in the past.

Pooled tissues of four rats which were used in a Lead Alkyl inhalation experiment.
These rats died while being exposed to the vapors of TML in air at a concentration of 0.012 m g . TML per liter of air. They received an average of 116 periods of exposure (7 hr./period) each. The first death was after 110 exposures, and the last after 12 0 exposures.
