It was good to talk to Governor Walker yesterday morning about the ballast water issues regarding Oil Tankers delivering Alaska crude oil from Valdez to the Lower 48. I need to recuse myself from working on this issue since my son is one of the third mate's working on the Alaskan Explorer an ATC vessel. I have forwarded your e-mail, with attached supporting documentation, to EPA headquarters Office of Water, for follow up. Lee Forsgren is the deputy assistant administrator for Water and will be your contact person who will be working the issue.
