The material is divided into sections covering the following operations: Large Reactor; Vinyl Dryers, Resin Transfer and Storage; Plasticizer;' Compound Line I, Line III and Automatic J?alletizer; Dry Blend; VCM Unloading, Storage, and Transfer, and P. A. Unloading. The material for which you are responsible is listed below: Vinyl Large Reactor Area; Lead Operator and Reactor Operator - All Vinyl Dryers: Resin Transfer and Storage and entry of dryers and dust collec tors . Lead Operator, Dryer Operator, arid Utility - All Yard: VCM Unloading Storage, and Transfer, and P.A. and alcohol un loading. Yard Operator - All Utility: General Helper Area of primary responsibility. Compound: Compound Line I, Line III, and Automatic Palletizer: Compounder, Compound Operator, and Utility (Excluding Dry Blend) All Dry Blend: Compounder and Utility - All ^ DTH OOOOOOOSS' Plasticizer: Plasticizer Operator - All The quizzes for each area are located directly in front of' the material covering that section. All answers to the questions on the quiz can be found in the material. After an ample time period to study the material, each man will be re quired to demonstrate to the Shift Foreman and the Operations Supervisor that he has a thorough knowledge of the material. A perfect score on the quiz is the only acceptable score for certification. If an employee should fail the quiz, he may take it again whenever he feels that he is ready. A target date of July 31, 1977 has been set for having all operation employees certified. The purpose of the safety certification is to insure that each operator knows the safety rules that govern his work and understands the purpose and function of critical safety equipment.
