Morner, The Heffners Oil Co., Dayton, Chlo, ' Dear Mr. Mornerr I have your letter of March 21 asking for any information which I may have in the case of one Mr. at Piqua, Ohio* I am very sorry to say that I have no information in this case. After some correspond ence with various members of your organization, I received a letter from your Mr. Meuche on December 11, 1929. in which he stated that he and others of you had arrived at the opinion that it was inad visable for me to make a physical examination* I had pointed out to him in my previous letter that such information as I had been able to obtain and such discussion as I had had with you indicated that there was very little likelihood that a suit could be successfully brought in a condition as definite as paralysis agitans. I therefore dropped' the entire matter and have heard nothing of it since I do not know enough about the case at the present moment to say whether it would be possible for us to give testimony which would be of assistance in com batting the suit. However, I should be very glad to review such facts as are available in this case and to render to you an opinion which would be sub stantially what I would be willing to offer in a court in such a case. In order to render such an opinion it would be necessary to knov; what the claims are, what facts have been ascertained as to the man's previous illness or associated illnesses, and as to what the possibilities of exposure to any noxious compounds such as carbon monoxide, etc., might have been.
