Modiin Kelsey-Hayes II Abex -- Chrysler The purpose of the meeting was to acquaint both Abex and Chrysler with the corroded condition of shoe and lining assemblies obtained from private vehicles after two years in service using Abex 7018 linings and K-H shoes. It was felt that the condition and level of occurrence should be addressed together with an investigation into protective treatments. Samples were given to Abex and Chrysler. The following action was agreed: Chrysler will attempt to define the extent of the occurrence in the U.S. and Canada. e K-H will investigate hew quickly plated shoes could be introduced.
