I please please exempt us at Duke Energy Progress from clean air regulations for our emissions from our Lake Julian gas plant. We didn't mean to cause any harm when we were burning coal there for many many years, and coal ash was raining down on neighborhoods in the area and increasing asthma rates in kids and destroying personal property. We don't mean any harm now that `ve switched to gas. It isn't our fault or responsibility that fracking releases methane into the air, and it sure isn't our fault that methane is a more potent greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. So President Trump just exempt us and we here at Duke Energy Progress will be very grateful.
