Dear Doctor Giroire
t send you herewith the
results of the analyses of the samples of urine which
came to us from the plant at Paimboeuf some weeks ago,
I dare say you will he gratified* as I am* to find that
there are no examples of dangerously high results* As
a matter of fact all of these results are well within the
limits of our findings among workmen in industries that
we regard as entirely safe, The mean of these results
iscalso gratifying low. On calculation It turns out to
he 0,0^9 Plus or minus 0,003, 1 should consider it likely
that these results would he found to increase to some degree
by the time the next set of samples hare been analyzed,
1 would expect that it might go as high as 0.07 or 0,08
among your group of workmen. If conditions are maintained
In the plant as they should he, I do not believe the results
will increase beyond the figure indicated above* although
there may be instances among individuals somewhat higher
than this level,

In the list of occupations which you have given me previously* it has been a little , difficult for me to determine just where the person in question works In the plant. ! would appreciate it very much if you would let he have this information at your
convenience, As an example of-what I mean, we list .the men as ^Autoclave operators* still operators, alloy workers
etc.. It."you would indicate opposite each man* s name the
building in which hS:works and the floor on which most of
his work is done* t shall be able to identify their location
from my knowledge of the construction of the plant,
I have resolved this morning
from Hr, Devys a notat ion to the effect that the samples
of feces are on their way to me. These will be analyzed
as promptly as possible and the results will be reported to you in due course.
