February 18, 1987 EM&TS - HS&EA Industrial Hygiene Asbestos Exposure Monitoring Attached are the results of the Asbestos exposure monitoring performed on F. R. Creech on February 10, 1987. He was monitored while stripping 2 Reactor Heaters from 770-237 Autoclave Lab using glove bags. The stripping was done in a designated room, located in Building 777. He also spent approximately 3 hours in Building 740 fan loft. He was equipped with disposable coveralls and an AO R57-A HEPA filter, half-face carrtridge respirator. The exposure monitoring results indicate that the levels were well below the 0.1 fiber/cc Action Level, established by OSHA for an 8-hour workday (TWA8). Please notify F. R. Creech of his exposure monitoring results as soon as possible. Please have him sign and date this report and return to M. A. Patel at Building 701-330.
