Machie Dear Dr. Machie: John Schaefer feels that we ought to examine the truckmen that are to carry ETHYL fluid in tank trucks. They will have nothing whatsoever to do with the loading of these trucks , nor with their discharge. There is always a very slight possibility, however, of leakage occurring enroute or of an accident which might involve these men in exposure to lead. Further more, while they will have nothing to do with the loading or discharge, they might be around the trucks during these operations when spillage occurred. | Mr. Kramme, the owner of the trucks, is anxious to not only cooperate with us but have our advice and assistance in being sure that his truck drivers are in good physical condition at all times. 1 I agree with John in his vieYfpOint and if you have no serious objection would appreciate it if you would please arrange for the examination of these men at your convenience.
