Dear
,
President von der Leyen has asked me to thank you for your email kindly requesting a bilateral meeting, on 10 or 11 June 2024 in Brussels, to discuss Carbon River's commercial technologies in the EU.
Regretfully, despite her appreciation for your thoughtful request, the President is unable to give a positive reply due to prior commitments on the dates in question.
Thank you in advance for your considerate understanding.
I would like to take this opportunity to extend my best wishes for a successful trip to Brussels.
Yours sincerely,
Peter Van Kemseke

Subject: Carbon Rivers in Brussels June 10-11
Greetings,
I wanted to reach out to the EU Commission and your respective offices as Carbon Rivers would like to begin sustainable, decarbonization manufacturing in the EU in 2025. I have
meetings planned in Brussels June 10-11 and Copenhagen June 12-14. During my two days in Brussels, I would like to meet with your offices to discuss our commercial technologies in the EU.
Carbon Rivers came out of the US DoE and now as a private engineering firm has multiple commercial technologies for the defense, energy, and private sectors including. Manufacturing of critical material pristine graphene for:
- Performance textiles and to mitigate PFAS - Sustainable concrete and asphalt construction - Marine foul release and other industrial coatings - Recycling next life cycle polymers - Ballistic materials - Lightweighting composites for defense and aerospace - Metal alloys for upgrading the grid - EV and overall tire manufacturing to mitigate 6PPD
And composite circular economy for post-industrial and post-consumer glass fiber waste streams:
- Fully recycle wind turbine blades - Glass fiber OEM production scrap - Circular economy for automotive and marine composites
These are some of the technologies we would like to have in the EU for next-generation manufacturing, labor creation, economic stimulus, and leading industry solutions. Please let me know a good time for any meetings, and especially in person on June 10-11.
Many thanks,
