PREFACE : ACKNOWLEDGMENTS, SIGNIFICANT CHANGES, COMMENTS AND REQUESTS
1. The 10 new cases in the Register are the following: France 19, 20, 21; Germany 28, 29, 30, 31, 32; UK 13; USA 39.
2. There are amendments from the previous Register against the following cases: France 15; Germany 23, 26.
3. I would like to thank the following for informing me of new cases - Dr Contassot, Dr Barrat, Dr Landers, Dr Friedel, Dr Williams and Mr John E Ertel.
4. For the case corrections I thank Dr Contassot and Dr Friedel.
5. For other corrections and information thanks to Mr John T Barr, Mr John E Ertel, Mr R T Gottesman, Mr A King and Dr N A Sulaiman.
6. I should be very grateful if all recipients of the Register could continue to keep me fully informed of any new cases or, if they hear of other Companies who have acquired a case of ASL, it would be much appreciated if I could be notified by the appropriate person. It is very helpful if new information is supplied in tabulated form, using the headings in the Register as far as possible. For this purpose I have added a blank form at the back of the Register.
7- I would also be glad of help to keep the mailing list correct, with news of retirements and successors, etc.
8. Research: (a) I am enclosing a letter which explains a research project in which I and Professor Carlo Tamburro hope you will be able to co-operate in the interest of knowledge.
(b) I shall be very grateful if all individuals involved in research or surveys could keep me informed and if possible send me copies when they become available.
