Worked as process engineer for one year and then in various supervisory capacities for 14 years, final assignment was Area Supervisor in chemical operations. Continued with UCC for 19 years in the "Calidria" asbestos operation: Research Engineer, in Niagara Palls, NY; Technical Superintendent, at asbestos processing mill in Xing City, CA; Marketing Manager, in Niagara Palls; Operations Manager, asbestos mining and milling, in King City, from June 1981 until UCC sold the asbestos business to KCAC, Inc. in July 1985.
