Iowa back on January 11, 1944 . . . but what ever the weather, it most certainly was a very significant day for the SherwinWilliams Company, for it was on this day that TWILA L. WOODRING be gan her career with our good Company. Twila was employed as Assistant Cashier and her advancement came quickly . . . February 16 she became Cashier and on September I of the same year she took over as Credit Man ager, replacing the man who is now our Treasurer--J. F. Cole. Jim started with S-W as a part-time stock keeper at the Joliet. III. branch on August 17, 1963. On June 1, 1964 he became a full time Inside Sales Clerk and was promoted to Bookkeeper De cember 1, 1964. Jim was welcomed into the Region May I, 1965 when he was transferred to the Branches Department as an Ac counting Clerk. On September 1. 1966 he became Assistant to the Regional Branch Operating Supersisor. and has worked closely with Branches in various phases of operations. Jim has devoted a good deal of time in the past year to Branch advertising and has also gotten into Branch merchandising. He has handled not only the general advertising program in Branches, but also put to gether "Specials" for Grand Ojienings of Mew and Physically Improved Branches. Jim and his lovely wile are the pioud parents of a son and daughter who are fast becoming expert riders on their Shetland pony -- their Collie racing alongside. Jim can be found on the golf course Saturday mornings--and with his family rides, swims, and barbecues.
