Mr. R. E. Cryor, President North American Asbestos Corporation 200 South Michigan Avenue
Chicago, Illinois 60604
Dear Mr, Cryor:
Under separate cover 1 am sending you several samples of Amoslte Fibers forwarded from our Tyler, Texes plant. Their basic complalicon this material involves a question of proper grading of the fibers that have been received in the most recent shipments.
Our Works Manager, Mr. C. E. van Home, told me that he does not feel that the Amoslte he is receiving should be classified as Crade Dll material. The color ranges from grey to blue and the darker fibers re extremely dusty. The dusty fibers are creating problems la the produc
tion of UNIBESTOS.
*
We reviewed this problem briefly with Dr. Gaze on the 10th and ^
he suggested that we send these samples to you for inspection. We would,,^ ^.
appreciate it if you would examine this material and give us your opinion^ __,
as to the quality of the fibers.

Bsst wishes for s Merry Christmas end a Happy New Year!
