Taylor -4/e.zztr tSC3 Aprii 5, 1981 C-8 - BLOOD SAMPLING PROGRAM The March 31st employee communication on birth defects in animals fed C-8 indicated that we would be doing additional blood sampling. As part of this program., we would like to obtain blood samples on additional TEFLON and WW employees. The blood samples will be analyzed for organic fluorine measured as C-8 to further expand our data base relative to employee C-8 exposures. These samples will also establish a time frame show ing how fast C-8 is eliminated from the body. For this phase of the program, we would like to obtain blood sam ples on females who have worked in TEFLON. Participation is strictly voluntary. Please discuss this with the personnel indicated below and have those willing to participate report to Medical on the first scheduled shift out starting Monday, April 6th, per the schedule below.
