Our visit to Monsanto was truly valuable and will certainly help us in preparing our report. One additional question arose, the answer to which you might be able to supply simply by referencing some current literature. The question is whether the toxicity of PCBs has ever been compared on the basis of the LD^g to the toxicity of other chemicals that might be found around one's house or in industry. When discussing toxicity with a legislator it will be helpful to compare it to something with which he is familiar. We don't expect any special effort in answering our question, however, if the information is available, we would surely appreciate a reference to it.
