The objective of BFGoodrich Chemical Group safety programs is to provide a safe workplace for our employees and this commitment to safety also extends to the safe handling and use of GeonR vinyls in our customers' workplaces. Vinyl resin and compounds have been processed safely for more than forty years. However, there are conditions such as improper use or accident that can affect worker health and safety. To assist our customers, we have prepared the attached material as a guideline for the safe handling and use of GeonR vinyls. The format we are using is based on the U. S. Department of Labor Form OSHA-20 modified to facilitate description of our materials. Our package contains two bulletins. Bulletin G-62, Second Edition, contains pertinent detailed information about GeonR vinyls. The G-62 Supplement highlights important points and is presented in such a way that the data can be posted con veniently in the workplace. We ask that you make certain that this material safety information is provided to safety personnel and employees handling Geon vinyls. Although this information cannot cover all possible individual situations, it does provide relevant product information to assist you in providing a safe and healthful workplace for all employees.
