Shanghai Health Study QA/QC team update
Hello everyone,
Judy Baldwin, who has been the mainstay of the QA/QC effort since its inception some months ago and on whose professional expertise we have relied, has had to resign from this activity for reasons of health. I know you all will join me is wishing her a full recovery.
I attach her letter in which she suggests a possible way forward in recruiting a qualified QA/QC expert to replace herself. API will explore this approach, and any others which may be identified, to fill this vacancy on the team as soon as possible.
I will be out of the country and without access to my email until June 15. I suggest we confer by conference call during the second half of June, to discuss the status of the preliminary data set(s) which are being compiled for Otto, and any other matters that need attention.

BHRC Oversight, Technical Committee members-
Jerry Rice has relayed news of Judy Baldwin's resignation to the Shanghai Health Study principal investigators (ref attached email & pdf file). Over the next month, Technical Committee members Stuart Cagen and Michael Bird will work with Jerry and API to evaluate options for the QA/QC Team and to propose a path forward to the Oversight Committee...
