'I CHEMICAL MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION May 13, 1981 To: Vinyl Chloride Program Panel Re: EHA Epidemiology Study Dear Sirs: Negotiation of a contract agreement with Environmental Health Associates, Inc.,(EHA) has been a rather prolonged process due to difference of opinion on disbursement of funds during the course of the study. We are looking toward a resolution of this issue and hope the study will get off the ground shortly without further delay. Both Dr. Torkelson and myself feel there is a need for involvement of company representatives with experience in the conduct of epidemiology studies to aid in monitoring the EHA study. If there is someone in your company who would be willing to serve in this capacity please let me know as soon as possible. Depending on the response, such persons may join the present group of Research Coordinators or a new Epidemiology Task Group could be formed. I look forward to hearing from you in this matter.
