The survey found that almost one third of 65 samples contained problematic fluorinated compounds, some of which are suspected to increase the risk of miscarriage or to impact the immune system. A short summary of the results along with a letter we send to MEP Christel Schaldemose, rapporteur on the EP FCM resolution, are attached. We would in this context be interested to present to you our survey in further detail and to learn more about how the European Commission views possible options to ensure the safety of paper and board food packaging.
