Each employee will be issued a NIOSH approved respirator, the model and size of which will afford the greatest degree of protection. 3. Each employee will be instructed as to the use and maintenance of the respirator. A. Proper fit B. Use of straps C. Filter change - daily or more often if necessary D. Valve change E. Cleaning - MSA sanitizer-cleaner F. Storage - in plastic container submerged in the MSA cleaner-sanitizer solution. 4. The employee*s supervisor will check four times a shift (using saran wrap) the proper seal of the respirator. 5.
