Attached you will find the newly revised Raw Material Number Designations listing and Explanation of Part Numbers for Raw Materials for all Resin Operations. Please insert these two (2) revisions into your raw materials book and delete the obsolete copies. The Raw Material Number Designations copy supersedes the one dated 10/14/71 and the Explanation of Part Numbers for Raw Materials for all Resin Operations copy super sedes the one dated 4/1/68.
We wish to reiterate the system upon which raw material code numbers are based. The first five (5) digits in sequence des cribe the product, its flammability, form and type of commod ity. The last two (2) digits identify the delivered method of packaging. These last two digits may be changed at the variou plant sites such that they may receive packages best handled a these sites.
