Dear Gehrmann: I have your letter concerning the information on lead compounds, to which I hope to reply shortly. I am in a little doubt as to the amount and kind of information you want, and if you could give me a little more information on how this information is to be presented and applied, I could be of much more help to you. Any information you can give me along this line will speed up the process, i also have your letter concerning your interview with Colonel Cox. I am glad -yon saw him, since tills will probably satisfy him, and I am sure that there will no complications. Since I am a medical consultant to the Surgeon General they nay call upon me in connection with any subsequent developments. The primary purpose for my writing the present letter is to ask if you have any specific information in connection with your own work or that of others in the examination and care of executives. I am to talk in Denver'on November 1 or 2 on this particular matter. I know pretty well what I intend to say, but if you could give me any information on the frequency of occurrence of disease among executives, or* any data from other sources on the specific medical peculiarities of this group, from an occupational viewpoint, it would help a great deal in bolstering up my position. Anything you have or any references you can give me will be most gratefully received.
