I hope the rest of the federal family follows suit. Assuring the integrity of the many advisory panels is an important matter. Congratulations to the Administrator, to Richard Yamada and the rest of the team, and to you. Kindly note below the message that I sent you in July. It asks when and how we at the C02 Coalition can provide a C02 science briefing that the Administrator requested. A number of our experts, who are spread across the country, are coming to DC on November 29 and 30. Any potential on that horizon? Ryan, what's the next step? Best, Mark J Carr From: Mark Carr Sent: Wednesday, July 19, 2017 4:41 PM To: Ryan Jackson (Jackson.Ryan@EPA.gov) <Jackson.Ryan@EPA.gov> Subject: Briefing the Administrator Chief of Staff Jackson, I'm following up on face-to-face conversations my C02 Coalition colleagues and I have had with Administrator Pruitt in NYC and in DC on accurate science of Carbon Dioxide. Your boss asked us good questions at those times and to come in to brief him. We value his scarce time and want him to be exceptionally successful. To this end, what is the time horizon for such a briefing? Why should your senior political and policy leaders at your Agency and across the Executive have more robust understanding of the true role (or lack of one) C02 plays in the physical world? Many of the initiatives on which you are working now will be easier to manage, and you will be subject to less viable criticism if you are better informed on the fundamental science. As you likely know, our experts are strongly supporting and helping organize the Red/Blue team initiative. Recent flack that the Administrator and Sec Perry are getting on this show that you are over the target. Take heart! 17cv1906 Sierra Club v. Likewise, we're happy to file any forms required for requesting a personal meeting. We are a 501c3 and do not lobby on any level. Funded by nonprofits and individuals, not corporations. I'll finish as I began: what's the horizon?
