Dear Doctor Kehoe:
This letter is to inquire whether any data has come to your
attention on normal values for lead in blood and lead in urine in human
infants and small children.
.~
M. children*s hospital of this city has asked this Bureau to analyze samples in cases- of suspected and proven lead encephalitis.
It was my thought that in the course of your investigations you may have arrived at seise vSlues for normal and for leaded infants and children.
I shall greatly appreciate any information you may have on this question.
Very truly yours,
Bruce H. Douglas, M. D. COMMISSIONER
