Testing needs for several new products and anticipated testing needs for several others were reviewed. Recommendations will be made to the business area in the near future. 2. Approvals for the PVC labeling effort have been received. Minor modifications were suggested on the label text. A meeting was held with PVC business and marketing area personnel to develop an action plan to proceed with the labeling effort. 3. I attended the Ammerman Experience media training. 4. Received an extension from the Bureau of Census for completion of the Survey of Pollution Abatement Costs and Expenditures. Depreciated asset values rather than original costs in the year of construction were initially put on the forms. These are being corrected. 5. Worked with S&T to classify ALFOL 610 and 22+ Alcohols for overseas shipment in compliance with MARPOL 73/78 Annex II. 6. Presented a brief overview on the requirements of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) at the Surfactants and Alcohol R&D meeting. 7. Submitted the PMN for C1416 Dialkylbenzenes to .the EPA. 8. Updated state and federal environmental regulations for the plants. 9. Submitted the new MSDS artwork for Vista, Premiere, and Blane to Grafix for initial typesetting. T. G.
