At the end of our last CDR Inorganic Byproducts Negotiated Rulemaking meeting on September 14, 2017, the Committee made the decision to end negotiations because members recognized that they would not be able to reach consensus on any of the options discussed. EPA thanked everyone for their participation and expressed their view that, even without reaching consensus, the exchange of information was extremely valuable and will be used to inform future actions. Attached Is the final summary from the September 13-14, 2017 meeting, which incorporates feedback from Committee Members. Committee Members - if you'd like to provide a Stakeholder Report or comments to be added to the public docket, submit it to EPA by October 31,2017. If you have related questions, please contact Susan Sharkey (202-5648789; sharkev.susan@epa.gov) or Jonah Richmond (202-564-0210; richmond.ionah@epa.gov). All information is saved on the Byproducts Committee website and in the docket (EPA-HQ-QPPT-2016-0597). Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions. We are also very interested in any feedback you have on the overall process. Thanks!
