Mr. Jimmy Newton with LaRay Oil, LLC was present at the time of the inspection. The inspection was conducted by the authority of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to determine compliance with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. There were no other federal, state, or local agency representatives present at the time of the inspection. FACILITY DESCRIPTION EPA conducted a follow-up inspection on the LaRay Oil, LLC / Morgan #1 Tank Battery, which has fourteen (14) tanks for crude oil and saltwater treatment and storage. Section II - OBSERVATIONS I collected a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) reading of 436.1 mg/l from the pooled area observed during the 03/11/2024 inspection, see Appendix 1 (Photograph Log), Photo No. 1. For additional GPS location and photo metadata, see Appendix 1. I observed the gap under one of the tanks had been filled with gravel substrate, see Photo No. 2. I observed the road through the secondary containment had been built up, see Photo No. 3. Section III - AREAS OF CONCERN A closing conference was held with Mr. Jimmy Newton with LaRay Oil, LLC during the inspection. Areas of concern noted during the 03/11/2024 inspection conducted by Inspector Uma Lad had been addressed. Section IV - FOLLOW UP There were no areas of concern noted during the inspection, and no additional follow-up inspection is required at this time.
