did not meet the Safety and Health Requirements of the Wals'n-Healey
Public Contracts Act.

The Act stipulates that "No part of such contract will be performed nor will any of the materials, supplies, articles or equipment to be manufactured or furnished under said contract, be manufactured or fabricated in any plants, buildings or surroundings or under working conditions whieh are unsanitary or hazardous or.dangerous to the health and safety of the employees engaged in the performance of the contract." ..

have^qualified personnel to take care of emergencies. Local exhaust ventilation not according to standards. Ex: Local exhaust ventilation system was tested with the following findings:
a. Grinder hood, 25-50 fpm at face.

c. . Scrap feeder at material point of entry, 50 fpm. d. Sawing ducts 500 fpm at face.
Recommend that employer make a study of present local exhaust ventilation
with professional advice, to come up to standard. It is believed that present system is below the required capacity.
