President Donald Trump accused former FBI Director James Comey on Friday of saying things that "just weren't true" in his testimony Thursday before the Senate Intelligence Committee but added that Comey also "confirmed a lot of what I said."
"No collusion, no obstruction, he's a leaker, but we want to get back to running our great country," Trump said in a news conference from the Rose Garden alongside Romanian President Klaus Iohannis. "Yesterday showed no collusion, no obstruction."
Trump claimed "total and complete vindication" in a tweet Friday morning that called Comey a "leaker" and suggested he made "so many false statements and lies" when he testified this week.
