A new table has been added, describing the pressure range and hose length range for each approved supplied-air respirator. Reprints of amendments to respirator approval regulations appear at the end of this supplement. These amendments postponed the effective date for expiration of Bureau of Mines respirator approvals and provided for approval of vinyl chloride respirators. Since NIOSH is not a major purchaser or user of Personal Protective Equipment, it welcomes information from the user concerning NIOSH certified or approved equipment.
