Owens has been elected a director and member of the executive committee of National Lead Com pany, succeeding Joseph H. Reid, who has retired. Mr. Owens is treasurer of National Lead Company, a director of The Baker Castor Oil Company and Titanium Metals Corporation of America and a member of Lower Manhattan Advisory Board.of Chemical Bank New York Trust Company. Mr. Owens joined National Lead's accounting department in 193^ and became assistant secretary of the company in 19^8 and assistant comp troller in 1951* He was elected treasurer in 1961. Mr. Owens is a graduate of New York University and Fordham Law School.
