Daniel Construction Company, being the general contractor here at the Fiber Industries Plant, are at times required to work within the plant where the violation occured. When our people work in areas subject to asbestos or dust concentration, they are required to wear protective equipment. I understand the plant received a citation covering the same violation, but are contesting it at this time and have no established abatement date. They are in the process of giving the plant a general overall thorough cleaning. Mr. Dudley, my request to you is for an abatement extension of six (6) months, or to coinside with the abatement of the Fiber Industries Plant, when it is established.
