FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NEW YORK, OCTOBER l6, 1963 - National Lead Company has announced the appointment of Henry J. Whitson as manager of pigment and chemical sales, effective November 1. In his new position, Mr. Whitson will direct the sales of pigments and chemicals in National Lead branches throughout the country. Mr. Whitson first joined National Lead Company at New York in 1932 as a sales representative in the Atlantic Branch and in 19^2 he was named sales manager for dry pigments. In 19^8 he became assistant to the company's sales manager, paints, pigments and chemicals and in February of this year he was appointed assistant manager for sales of pigments and chemicals.
