I. Information regarding construction machinery and agricultural machinery that use diesel internal-combustion engine.
If there is a fuel leak at a fuel transportation point, an enormous damage will be expected such as loss of human safety. The fuel transportation point mentioned above is "O-RING / GASKET" of the fuel tank and "Tube / Hose" which is connected to engine and fuel tank in "Construction machinery and agricultural machinery". The details are as follows.
I-1. Regarding fuel seal, tube and hose material for "Construction machinery and aguricultural machinery".
"Biodiesel" gains widespread use all over the world as fuel in diesel engines in addition to fossil fuel. The effect which "Biodiesel"give each rubber material is different because of this property is chemically different from fossil fu "Biodiesel" deteriorates due to hydrolysis from water and air oxidation. So, if we don't use PFAS regarding to sealing materials such as "O-RING / GASKET" and "Tube / Hose" which is connected to the engine and fuel tank, hose will be given fatal flaw depending on the actual use condition of the fuel and affect human safety. Because hose has a composite structure due to material or transmission phenomenon. However, if we use "FKM, rubber material" which is PFAS, there is no fatal flaw. In addition, most non-PFAS materials must contain zinc. If zinc in non-PFAS materials reacts with biodiesel which has been oxidized in actual use, it will produce salts. The salts clog common rail diesel engines and cause following fatal flaws. These fatal flaws affect human safety.
