Brian was employed in March of 1962 as Credit Manager in the Marshalltown, Iowa Branch and served in that capacity until September 1963 at which time he entered the Army on a six-months duty service. The bride was lovely in a gown of peau de soie covered with Chantilly lace which her mother had made. Her bub ble veil was held by a Aurora Borialis and seed pearl crown, and she carried white roses and stephanotis. The bridesmaids were in floor length dresses of moss green tops and white skirts and carried bouquets of fuji mums; the matron of honor and flower girls dresses were of gold and white. Her first impulse, she said, was to scream but then they all became con cerned about someone being injured, and fortunately no one was. There was quite a bit of damage to the store, al though business was carried on as usual for several hours after the accident. The 75-inch rotat ing globe, erected as part of our 100th anniversary observance, points up the fact that our company was founded in Cleveland and subtly restates our "rover- the-earth" slogan. A superb example of craftsmanship, the globe is the largest and most accurate of its type ever made. The prototype was created for NASA for use in the astro naut training program.
