Dear
At the request of Mary Valenta, I am providing the following
information for Vista LPA solvent
Based on the analytical data we have available, neither
product contains more than 0.1 percent total polynuclear
aromatics
(PNA).
Therfore,
there are no OSHA-defined
carcinogenic PNA*s above 0.1 percent in either product.
Furthermore, the manufacturing processes for these products
should
preclude the presence of other OSHA-identified
carcinogens.
Based on the above, Vista LPA solvent will not require carcinogen warning labels as required
in the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR Part 1910.1200 d[ 4 ]) .
Sincerely,
Research Chemist Research and Development bu
