; KbD FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NEW YORK, JANUARY 19, 1966- National Lead Company has announced the following appointments in the paint division. William E. Schaefer has been named plant manager of the Los Angeles plant of the Company's Pacific Coast Branch and Vincent Tinello, superintendent of the Perth Amboy, New Jersey, paint plant. Mr. Schaefer joined the National Lead company in 19^6 as a staff member of the Brooklyn Research Laboratories. He was trans ferred to Perth Amboy in 1950 as assistant superintendent of the paint department and named superintendent the following year. In 1965 he moved to the Company's Los Angeles plant as superintendent. Mr. Schaefer was graduated from Pratt Institute and attended Pennsylvania State University. He is member Los Angeles Society for Paint Tech nology and American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Mr. Tinello was first employed by National. Lead at Perth Amboy in 1953 as a chemist in the paint development laboratory. In 1955 He was made paint production supervisor and in i960 paint plant project engineer. Mr. Tinello received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Rutgers, The State University. He is a member of American Chemical Society and New York Society for Paint Technology.
