BECK VENTILATION CHECK IN I&E SHOP Exhaust air velocity was measured on two hoods in I&E shop in Central Shops on January 11. The Alnor Thermo Anemometer (Type 8500) was used to take nine readings across the face of each hood. Du Pont Standard H1U requires an average of ion fpm at the face with hoods in a fully open position. Hood C-14 had an average face velocity of 128.8 fpm.
