Martino has been elected chairman of the board of directors and chief executive officer of National Lead Company. Alfred H. Drewes has been named president of the company in succession to Mr. Martino. Mr. Martino, who has been president since 19^-7* joined National Lead in 1916. He has served as comptroller and executive vice president, and since I9IA has been a member of the executive committee and a director of the company. He is a director of Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporation, American Broadcasting-Paramount Theaters, Inc., The Chase Manhattan Bank, Chemetron Corporation, Continental Insurance Company and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, and a trustee of East River Savings Bank. Mr. Martino is a commissioner of Port of New York Authority, a director of New York World's Fair 196^-1965, Inc., a trustee of North Shore Hospital, and a director of United Cerebral Palsy Research and Education Foundation. Mr. and Mrs. Martino reside on Shelter Rock Road, Manhasset, New York. Note to the Editor: Mr. Martino received an Honorary Degree Doctor of Law from Fordham University, June 13, 1956.
