The project scope is as follows; 1. Remove heater stack. 2. Remove stack transition piece. 3- Remove ladders and platforms. 4. Remove convection box with roof radiant tubes in single unit. 5. Disassemble convection box at Berry Fabricators' yard. 6. Prefabricate upper convection, lower convection, and roof radiant sectios in Berry Fabricators' pipe shop prior to the ~~ completion of disassembling the convection box. 7. Remove and replace all tube support wall hangers in the con vection and roof radiant section. 8. Repair all damaged insulation as per original heater specifi cations. 9. Install prefabricated roof radiant, lower convection, and upper convection sections. 10. Reassemble heater. Coastal States Petrochemical will supply all heater tubes, fittings, tube supports, and tube support wall hangers. All alloy welds will be 100% x-rayed, stress relieved, and x-rayed again. The project will be on a cost plus basis and will be billed to Coastal States Petrochemical Company, P. 0. Box 109, Corpus Christi, Tx. 78403. Charges will be billed against AFE 41100. Standard billing practices will be followed. All charges will be based on Fab Shop rates on file in the Field Administrative Office of Coastal States Petro chemical.
