Asbestos Insulation survey at Grand Bayou Operations. The following is a list of equipment and Grand Bayou Operations known to contain asbestos. 1. The shell, head and associated piping insulation on the following towers and reboilers: A. Deisobutanizer Reboiler. B. Debutanizer Reboiler. 2. All of the insulation on the Amine Still and Reboiler. 3. Some piping which supports heating oil to and from the heaters and reboilers. 4. Insulation around the heating oil tank and the heating oil pump insulation. 5. The Bottom one-third of the Deisobutanizer Column. Foam glass insulation is used on the upper two-thirds of the column. 6. The end box of the north heater heating oil heaters. The south heater asbestos has been abated and the heater has been removed from service. 7. Transite locations: A. Cooling Tower Panels B. Compressor Building C. Fire Pump Building D. Motor Control Center (Arc Shoes in Switchgear) Asbestos insulation is being replaced by foam glass which is our alternate insulating material.
