Washington, D.C. 20009 Dear Mr. Freifeld: This is in response to your letter of December 13, 1976, concerning changes in the Vinyl Chloride Study Report. EEH will accomplish the changes specified in your letter and provide you with 40 copies of a Final Report at a cost of $4,957 to MCA. A suirmary of the cost elements comprising this total is provided below. Retabulations specified under Change #1 of your letter will cost $950. Text rewriting to reflect changes specified under Change #2 and comments specified under Change #3 will cost $1,980. Editing and re production of the revised text, and Project Management will cost $1,862. Other Direct Costs will be $165. This work can be accomplished in three weeks following your authoriza tion to proceed. We will invoice MCA for the full amount in the month following completion of the work. If these considerations are satisfactory with MCA, please sign the enclosed copy of this letter and return it to me as authorization to proceed. We regret that it is necessary to make an additional charge for this work. Under ordinary circumstances we would not do so. At this time, however, EEH has recorded over $10,000 of costs in excess of the fixed contract price quoted to MCA in 1975.
